CONES FOR CHRISTMAS: THANKS FOR HELPING keep State Rd. 54 safe

Over Christmas weekend, Atonement held a special fundraiser to help our Helping Hands Food Pantry. The number of families being served at our food pantry in 2022 has increased from around 300 to around 500! That has meant an overflow of cars on Wednesday mornings trying to get onto our church property.

With your help, we are now able to purchase enough SAFETY CONES to extend our double line of cars through the back lawn of the church. This should relieve the pressure and help avoid a traffic accident. Our goal is to purchase 80 used full-sized FDOT road cones. With room to line up more cars, we can get the overflow traffic off of SR-54.

Over Christmas weekend, we asked people to "ADOPT-A-CONE" for $10 each, and received overwhelming support from the congregation. MANY THANKS for your donations, which have totaled $1470 as of today (Tuesday, Dec. 27)! Extra money raised will go to support the work of the Helping Hands Food Pantry.
