Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Some days, life is a breeze. There are no traffic delays while heading home from work, the kids don't have any homework, and you know exactly what to prepare for dinner. You rock at this thing called life!

Then there are those days when the commute home takes an extra thirty minutes, your fuel light is on, your spouse is out of town, and the kids just informed you that they have a project due the next day that they haven't even started yet! Forget about making dinner....this is the time to make the delivery person your best friend!

There are seasons in our life when things are under control......we are healthy, happy and our jobs and finances are fulfilling. We're blessed to have vacations, date nights and friends. Our social media posts are the beach photos, drinks with little umbrellas and funny memes showing life as being good.

But there is the other season....we don't post pictures because tears in the shower are not as pretty as toes in the sand. The car needs costly repairs, the washer and dryer no longer work, and an unexpected bill comes in the mail. It's these moments we need someone to come along and carry some of the burden.

The beauty of the body of Christ is that no one is meant to bear their burdens alone. To fulfill the law of Christ is to take on some of the load. We are so much stronger together. Look around and see who is weighted down and let's carry it for them. It might be as simple as having dinner delivered to their door!
