The Women of Atonement (WELCA) want to thank all who contributed to the success of the 2-Sunday 'Clearance Sale'/Silent Auction ($1050.00) and the Holiday Basket sales ($421.00). Both projects together contributed $1471.00 to Pastor's Sabbatical Fund.
The next meeting: March 16 – 11 AM – Friendship Hall –‘Wearin’ of the Green’ as St. Patrick’s Day is the 17th. Bring a food to share. Come to enjoy food, fellowship, and support our newly elected leaders and our women's ministry here at Atonement
"Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America includes Lutheran women who gather in more than 4,500 locations in the U.S. and the Caribbean, for service, study, advocacy, fellowship and more! WELCA embraces all kinds of ministries that support the mission of mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.
"WELCA is the women’s ministry organization of the ELCA. It is separately incorporated and is not an auxiliary of the church. It is financially independent and responsible for its own financial affairs. Financial support comes from individual and group offerings, gifts, and projects."
Our Atonement WELCA chapter is an active ministry of our church. Ladies, consider getting involved with this ministry. There is a place for you here at Atonement to grow as a faithful servant to Atonement, our community, and the world. See you Saturday!
