The Women of Atonement (WELCA) held their October meeting this morning with 16 ladies attending. Pastor stopped by near the end of the meeting. The Reformation Dinner plans were completed. Plan to attend following the Reformation service on October 29th. Lots of food! Tickets are available on Sunday mornings. The dinner supports the Al & Bea Bidwell Memorial Scholarship Fund for scholarships for our qualifying high school senior graduates to use toward their continuing education.

The WELCA Bake Sale will be November 23rd, the Sunday before Thanksgiving. The ladies will be baking!! Yummy goodies will be available!!

Gift Cards for Teens in the Guardian Ad Litem Program: The last two years WELCA & church members have provided $25 Walmart gift cards for the teens in this program. Beginning in November, flyers will be distributed Sunday morning promoting the donation of gift cards.

WELCA Christmas Party: December 9 in Friendship Hall at 11-1. Bring a ‘dish-to-share’ and a wrapped $15 gift for our ‘crazy gift exchange’! Lots of fun and fellowship......and 'good eats'! Ladies, mark your calendars!

Six prayer shawls/lap robes were blessed and given to the Care Ministry for their distribution to bring comfort.

After a productive meeting, we closed in our traditional Lord’s Prayer ring.

Compiled by Barb Turner, secretary

The next meeting is November 11 at 10 AM in Friendship Hall
