On Saturday, January 10, the Women of Atonement Lutheran Church, met for our first meeting of the New Year, 2026. At that meeting we brought items to fill care packages for four of our university students and two young members of our US Armed Forces. After the boxes were packed we blessed the boxes. Thanks to Rose Henry, Co-Leader of WELCA, for leading WELCA in this outreach to our young people. WELCA saying a prayer of blessing . Elizabeth Glidden led our prayer.

Come, celebrate, the New Year outside watching a Movie on the BIG SCREEN, enjoying  refreshments , and singing around the campfire!  The Blow, Strum, and Pick Ensemble will help lead in welcoming in the New Year.  Let's meet at Atonement Lutheran Church at 8 pm. Don't forget to bring your lawn chair!

Our Atonement WELCA ladies have been busy. On Home for Thanksgiving Sunday, our ladies baked with the freewill donations designated for the Kitchen Fund. $527 was donated. Raffle baskets were made by several of the WELCA ladies with funds raised being designated for the Rebuild Our Future Campaign.  $1095 raised. The drawing was held December 14. The 2025 Women of Atonement Christmas Party will be held in Friendship Hall December 13 at 10:30 AM. It's party time, not a meeting! Bring a $20 wrapped gift for the fun gift exchange and an hors d'oeuvres/finger food to share. All women of Atonement are invited. SIix Holiday Baskets prepared by WELCA members will be offered in a Raffle starting Sunday, November 16. You may purchase raffle tickets before the 9:30 am Service and the 11 am service. There is a basket to interest YOU, we're sure! The drawings for the baskets will be on Sunday, December 14. On Sunday, November 23, WELCA is hosting a Thanksgiving Bake Sale. Freewill donations are accepted. You may find just what you need for your Thanksgiving Feast. WELCA wishes y

The trailer has been emptied. The remainder of the sanctuary chairs are now available to reupholster. The project began today, November 5th! The 'chair crew' gathered this morning and began the process. Fourteen chairs were stripped of the old fabric and are ready to for the new fabric and foam. The crew will be meeting at the church at 10 AM tomorrow, Friday, and next week. If you would like to help with this project, come and join the crew. Your help will be appreciated.
