WELCA blesses and sends Care Packages
On Saturday, January 10, the Women of Atonement Lutheran Church, met for our first meeting of the New Year, 2026. At that meeting we brought items to fill care packages for four of our university students and two young members of our US Armed Forces. After the boxes were packed we blessed the boxes. Thanks to Rose Henry, Co-Leader of WELCA, for leading WELCA in this outreach to our young people. WELCA saying a prayer of blessing . Elizabeth Glidden led our prayer.

Come, celebrate, the New Year outside watching a Movie on the BIG SCREEN, enjoying refreshments , and singing around the campfire! The Blow, Strum, and Pick Ensemble will help lead in welcoming in the New Year. Let's meet at Atonement Lutheran Church at 8 pm. Don't forget to bring your lawn chair!

Our Atonement WELCA ladies have been busy. On Home for Thanksgiving Sunday, our ladies baked with the freewill donations designated for the Kitchen Fund. $527 was donated. Raffle baskets were made by several of the WELCA ladies with funds raised being designated for the Rebuild Our Future Campaign. $1095 raised. The drawing was held December 14. The winners: Chocolate Basket - Ken Hanks; Italian Basket #1 - Twila Gonzalez; Entertainment Basket - Carol Erlwein; Christmas
