Our Atonement WELCA ladies have been busy. On Home for Thanksgiving Sunday, our ladies baked with the freewill donations designated for the Rebuilding Our Future campaign. $527 were donated.
Raffle baskets were made by several of the WELCA ladies with funds raised being designated for the Kitchen Fund. The drawing was held December 14. The winners: Chocolate Basket - Ken Hanks; Italian Basket #1 - Twila Gonzalez; Entertainment Basket - Carol Erlwein; Christmas Basket Large - Olivia David; Christmas Basket #2 - Barb Turner; Italian Basket #2 - Diane Borovies; Movie Basket - Becky Carleton. $1095 raised.
Thank you all for participating in these WELCA projects......the bakers, the basket makers, and especially all who purchased goodies and raffle tickets..
After working, it was time to play on December 13 when we WELCA ladies enjoyed our Christmas Party. Diane Borovies presented a 'hands-on/interactive' devotion - "A Nativity Christmas Story Snack Mix". We enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres before playing our Christmas gift exchange game. What a fun day!!
WELCA wishes our Atonement Lutheran family a very Merry Christmas.
